Pit Stop BBQ @ M / S Louisiana, America's Real Barbecue
Pit Stop BBQ, a restaurant specializing in American barbecue facilities at MS Louisiana in Hietalahdenranta and run by Pitmaster Chris Paton. Chris tells us enthusiastic about his new restaurant and its totally different environment on the restaurant ship M / S Louisiana.
Pit Stop BBQ is developed and led by Chris Paton, Canadian. He noticed that there isn't a selection of real, authentic American barbeques available in Finland. Four years ago Chris decided to do something about it. After organizing numerous bbq courses in Finland. The next logical step for Chris was opening the owner Pit Stop BBQ in Helsinki.
Now everyone else has also finally the chance to enjoy his 15-21 hours slow-cooked beef brisket, pork ribs, and other original American barbeque delicacies.
Pit Stop BBQ @ MS Louisiana can be reached from downtown by tram in just over five minutes. Walking distance from the city center is 1.5 km and in the summer there is also a private guest boat dock.
