Panimoravintola Koulu is one of Finland's largest restaurant breweries.
In 1889, a building representing Neo-Renaissance in the center of Turku was completed for school use
and operated until June 1997. After a large renovation, Panimoravintola Koulu opened
in January 1998. In the first floor of the restaurant is the Pub and Winestube which both have dining facilities. On the second floor there are several cabinets, including the festive
Bellman Hall which can be used for a banquet serving up to 150 people. Koulu’s kitchen
produces brewery dishes from the best raw materials of the season. A large part of the brewery can be seen in the Pub and on weekdays one can often follow the beer master at work. In addition to several beers, Koulu also produces ciders. In the summer, all the tasty dishes can be enjoyed on the lush and wide terrace which is one of Turku's largest terraces.
